Welcome all! This race is a chance for women, children, rookies or novice crew to take their turn at the helm. Our annual Bob Schmidt regatta is by far the funnest race of the season as we welcome our friends, family, and fellow members who don't usually race an opportunity to give it a try!

About the Event
For those of you that don't know Bob Schmidt was the first commodore of the PSC. He passed away in 2008. His number one rule of the club was to have fun. The Bob Schmidt Regatta was started to commemorate him and what he stood for. This race combines several races that lost participation over the years such as the Sadie Hawkins Race and Rookie Race. The Bob Schmidt Regatta is a chance to get other people on the helm. It is by far the most fun race of the season. If you consider yourself a rookie join us on Sunday. Even if you have experience but you are new to the club join us. If you want to race but you have too much experience, get someone else on the helm. It could be a spouse, child, friend, crew member... The options are endless.
